To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage when using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions

1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.  
2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, never put the motor housing, cord, or plug in water or other liq-  
uids.  
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.  
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.  
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in the event the appliance malfunctions, or is  
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the Presto Factory Service Department (see page 4)  
or to the nearest Presto Authorized Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjust-  
ment.  
6. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock,  
or injury.  
7. Do not use outdoors.  
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.  
9. Avoid contact with moving parts.  
10. Do not use the lemonade maker for other than intended use.

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR HOUSEHOlD USE ONly.  
POlARIzED PlUG – Connect the power supply cord to a polarized outlet only. As a safety feature, this appli-  
ance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If  
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not  
attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Care and Cleaning  
1. Always unplug unit before cleaning.  
2. Remove fruit pulp and seeds from reamer. Then, wash all parts except the motor housing in warm, sudsy wa-  
ter.  
Do not wash parts in a dishwasher.  
Wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth to clean. Never immerse the motor housing in water or any other  
liquid.  
Recipes  
All recipes can be prepared with sugar substitutes if calorie and carbohydrate reduction is desired. Replace sugar  
with an equal amount of your favorite bulk sugar substitute. If using packets of sugar substitute, refer to the specific  
sweetener for instructions.

1 quart (4 cups) cold water  
4 large lemons, halved  
1 lemon, thinly sliced

Add water, ice, and sugar to HomeAde lemonade maker pitcher.Assemble parts for juicing and mixing;  
juice lemon halves. Add lemon slices.  
Makes 2 quarts  
Pineapple Citrus Blend  
3 cups unsweetened  
pineapple juice  
2 cups ice cubes  
1 cup ginger ale  
3 medium juice oranges, halved  
1 large lemon, halved  
Add pineapple juice, ice, and ginger ale to HomeAde lemonade maker pitcher. Assemble parts for  
juicing and mixing; juice orange and lemon halves.  
Makes 2 quarts  
limeade  
Follow recipe for lemonade, except substitute 6 limes for the halved lemons. After juicing limes, add  
1 thinly sliced lime to pitcher.  
Makes 2 quarts  
Citrus Wine Cooler  
1 bottle (750 ml) Chablis or  
other dry wine, chilled  
1 large lemon, halved  
1 quart (4 cups) carbonated  
water, chilled

cup sugar  
2 medium limes, halved  
Add wine and sugar to HomeAde lemonade maker pitcher. Assemble parts for juicing and mixing;  
juice limes and lemon. Add carbonated water to pitcher. Serve immediately.  
Makes 2 quarts  
Orange Cream  
1 pint orange sherbet, softened  
1 quart (4 cups) 7-up  
4 medium juice oranges, halved  
Add sherbet and 7-up to HomeAde lemonade maker pitcher. Assemble parts for juicing and mixing;  
juice oranges.  
Makes 2 quarts  
Natural Citrus Soda Pop

Add water and sugar to HomeAde lemonade maker pitcher. Assemble parts for juicing and mixing;  
juice lemons. Add ice cubes to a tall glass; fill glass 34 full with lemon mixture. Top off with carbon-  
ated water.
